eBook: Surveying the State of Student Progress

Finding Purpose In The Plague Year

Educating through the pandemic takes on new meaning after a year. While we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it is yet to return in full.

Students missed critical instruction, interpersonal interaction, and wraparound services that were never planned to be delivered remotely. The full impact of this loss is unquantifiable, and will not be appreciated for years. However, twelve months after the pandemic began in full, we asked a group of educators and administrators how it went.

We hope to aggregate their voices and share from them what went well, what hurt, and what’s left to be done. Ultimately, we strive to come back better, serve students stronger, and find purpose in the plague year.
